Bowie & Dick test - Valisafe. The purpose of this test is to assess the quality of steam penetration into the packaging. In other words, it checks the proper functioning of an autoclave. A complete color change indicates optimal steam penetration. On the other hand, a test failure indicates the presence of air in the tested package, which may be caused by a malfunction in your autoclave.
