The Medical MD20 is a professional manual labelling system designed for the clear and reproducible marking of sterilisation packaging. It has been developed for environments in which instruments are routinely reprocessed and where traceability, legibility and process reliability within the sterilisation workflow are essential.

Using mechanically adjustable date fields and steam-sensitive indicator labels, the MD20 allows sterilisation and expiry dates to be directly linked to each individual package. The integrated indicators provide a clear visual confirmation of exposure to a steam sterilisation process.

Scope of delivery

When supplied, the Medical MD20 is delivered as a fully operational labelling system, consisting of:

  • Manual MD20 labelling device

  • Integrated label holder

  • MD20 ink roller (installed or supplied separately)

  • 8 rolls of double-adhesive sterilisation labels (32 × 19 mm)

The system is ready for immediate use and requires no installation, software or power supply.

How the system works

  • Sterilisation and expiry dates are mechanically set using rotating adjustment wheels

  • The label is applied to the sterilisation packaging with a single hand movement

  • After steam sterilisation, the indicator shows a visible colour change

  • The label serves as a direct visual confirmation of process execution

The double-adhesive labels can easily be transferred to documentation or patient records, ensuring complete and traceable registration.

Application within sterilisation processes

The Medical MD20 is suitable for professional environments in which:

  • multiple sterilisation cycles are carried out each day

  • instruments are temporarily stored prior to use

  • sterilisation data must be documented in a traceable and reproducible manner

  • visual process control is required without additional equipment

  • documentation forms part of internal quality assurance or external inspections

Thanks to its standalone mechanical design, the system is suitable for both central sterilisation areas and compact or mobile setups.

A maintenance contract for your autoclave

A maintenance contract for your autoclave is essential to ensure the efficiency, safety and longevity of this important device. Autoclaves are crucial in various sectors, including medical facilities, laboratories and industrial applications, for sterilizing instruments and materials. Regular maintenance by qualified technicians ensures that your autoclave functions optimally and meets all legal and safety standards.

Benefits of a maintenance contract

Reliability and safety

A properly maintained autoclave ensures that sterilization processes are effective and safe, which is crucial to prevent cross-contamination. This is essential for the safety of both patients and staff.

Cost reduction

Prevention is better than cure. Regular maintenance can detect and correct early signs of wear before they lead to costly repairs or replacement.

Compliance with regulations

Autoclaves must comply with strict regulations. A maintenance contract ensures that your equipment always meets the latest health and safety standards.

Efficiency

Regular maintenance ensures that your autoclave functions at optimal efficiency, leading to faster sterilization cycles and a longer lifespan for the device.

Available contract options

We offer flexible maintenance contracts for a period of 1 or 2 years. You can choose a monthly or annual payment plan, depending on what best suits your financial planning and cash flow management. Each contract includes an annual visit from one of our specialist technicians, who will carry out a thorough check and maintenance of your autoclave.

Certification of maintenance

After each maintenance visit you will receive a signed certificate of approval. This document confirms that your autoclave has been inspected and maintained to the highest standards and provides you with official proof of maintenance for inspections.
